How to choose a detailer or valeter in Cambridge

Cambridge has a mix of all three, spread from the city centre out to Cherry Hinton, Histon, Sawston and Ely. • Fixed premises or mobile - and if mobile, does the detailer bring their own water and power, or do they need yours?
• Is the quote for a wash and protect, or does it include machine paint correction first? Correction takes longer and costs more, and a coating over unclipped swirls will not look any better than the paint underneath.
• For a hand car wash site: is it walk-in, or do you need to book ahead?
• Which ceramic coating brand, and what is the manufacturer's warranty period?
• If a listing's address, website or hours are unclear - as with several of the businesses found in this town - ring first to check the business is still trading before assuming the directory listing is current.
