Why the range is so wide
The gap between £6 and £240 mostly separates a basic hand wash from monthly detailing memberships and premium polishing work, rather than one business over- or under-charging. American Carwash Company's Shoreditch branch prices its half and full valets the same way, from £75 to £170. RR London Detailing and Hand Carwash London sit at the top of the table: RR London sells valeting only as a monthly membership, from £88 to £240 for a small car, and Hand Carwash London's one published price, a £199 Gold Plus Polish, is a specialist machine-polishing package rather than a routine wash.
