A name to watch for: two different "Gleam" businesses in Cookstown

A29 Garage Services on the Dungannon Road and Supergleam Valeting & Detailing on the Old Loughry Road are two separate businesses in Cookstown, despite both trading under a "Gleam" name in different online listings over the years. A29 Garage Services is the car and trailer dealership whose wash and valet bay has appeared under a few different names; Supergleam Valeting & Detailing is James Savage's standalone valeting and detailing business, trading since 2002. Check the address and phone number before you call, since the similar branding is easy to mix up.

Questions worth asking before you book

  • Fixed premises or mobile, and if mobile, how far from its base will the business travel to reach you?
  • Is the quote for a wash and protect, or does it include machine paint correction first? The two are priced very differently even where a business does publish figures.
  • A number of listings here, including several low-confidence ones such as Enviro Clean Ballymena, Isaac Fulton Valeting and Detailing and MP Valeting and Detailing, are drawn from search results and online listings rather than the business's own website. Ring first to check the business is still trading and that its current phone number, address and prices match what's shown here.
  • If you're in a thinner-covered area such as Derry city, Limavady, Coleraine & Portrush or Enniskillen, ask a mobile operator based elsewhere in the north west whether they reach your postcode before assuming you're limited to the businesses based there.
