Where coverage is thin or missing

No business here is based in Coldstream, Gordon, Greenlaw, Lauder or Selkirk itself, and none of the five Berwick & Eyemouth businesses is based in the TD13 villages of Ayton, Reston, Grantshouse or Chirnside – despite several searches, no valeting or detailing business with a confirmed base could be found in any of them. Questions worth asking before you book

  • Fixed premises or mobile – and if mobile, how far do they actually travel? A postcode at the edge of a stated coverage area is still worth confirming.
  • If a mobile valeter is coming to you, do they bring their own water and power, or do they need yours?
  • Is the quote for a wash and valet, or does it include machine paint correction or a ceramic coating on top? Correction takes longer and costs more, and a coating over unaddressed swirls will not look any better than the paint underneath.
