How much does car detailing and valeting cost on the Isle of Wight in 2026?

A detailer handing over a price list to a customer at the workshop counter

We collected the prices published by car detailers and valeters across the Isle of Wight in September 2026. Of the seventeen businesses in this directory, only two publish a price list on their own site: Wight Wash, a mobile operator covering the whole Island from Freshwater, and Graham's Vehicle Detailing, a mobile service based in Yarmouth. Everyone else asks you to call or message with details of the vehicle before quoting, which is normal for detailing work where the price depends heavily on the car's size and condition, not just a fixed menu.

What the two price lists show

Both businesses are mobile and both work across the whole Island rather than one town, so their tiers give a rough sense of what a job costs even if you're calling a business based somewhere else. At the cheap end, a basic exterior-only clean runs £15 to £25: Wight Wash's service clean and Graham's exterior wash sit close together. A proper full valet, covering the interior as well as the outside of the car, lands around £50 for both businesses: Wight Wash's Gold tier and Graham's Full valet. At the top end, Wight Wash's Gold Plus package (£80) and Graham's Premium detail (£100, which includes engine bay cleaning and steam-cleaning the upholstery) are the two most thorough jobs published on the Island.

Why most businesses don't list a price

Fifteen of the seventeen businesses covered here, including every fixed-studio detailer on the Island such as Brite Wight Detailing & Valeting and JW Autoshine Detailing Studio, ask you to call or message rather than publishing a menu. That's typical where the work includes paint correction, ceramic coating or paint protection film, since the price depends on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the paint and how much correction work it needs before a coating or film goes on. When you call, it's worth describing the car's size, roughly how dirty or marked it is, and whether you want a wash, a full valet or correction and coating work, so the quote you get back actually matches the job.
