How much does car detailing and valeting cost in Oldham, Ashton and Saddleworth in 2026?

A tradesman in a hi-vis vest and a detailer laugh as they look at the mud on the sills of his white work van

We collected the prices published by car detailing and valeting businesses across Oldham, Ashton-under-Lyne, Royton, Shaw, Chadderton, Saddleworth, Failsworth and Hollinwood in September 2026. Of the thirty-seven businesses in this directory, only two publish a price list online: Vulpix Detailing in Ashton-under-Lyne and Fady Valets in Failsworth & Hollinwood. Every other business asks you to call or turn up and get a price once they've seen the car.

What these two publish, and why the rest don't

Vulpix Detailing runs a drop-and-collect detailing unit in Ashton-under-Lyne and prices its entry-level work, a basic detail from £50 and a Summer Prep Package at £95, but leaves its ceramic coating packages (one to nine years of protection) to a quote once it has seen the car's paint condition. Fady Valets, working from a unit on Coppice Industrial Estate in Hollinwood and open 24 hours, publishes two tiers: a maintenance valet from £45 covering wheel arches, iron decontamination and a ceramic wax finish, and a deeper clean from £150. Both are fixed-premises detailing units rather than a quick hand wash, which may explain why they're confident enough in their pricing to publish it; this market is otherwise dominated by mobile valeters and small fixed units working entirely on a look-and-quote basis.

What the rest charge

The other thirty-five businesses in this directory, split between fourteen mobile operators and twenty-one further fixed premises, publish no price online. That's typical for towns this size: most are one or two-person operations without a website, let alone a price list. Have the make, model and current condition of your car ready when you call, since a heavily soiled interior, pet hair or a larger vehicle usually gets priced as an extra once the detailer sees it rather than quoted blind over the phone.
