A note on duplicate listings

ADT Mobile Car Valeting and Ace Mobile Valeting share an identical phone number at two different Norton addresses; this looks like one business trading under two names, so it's listed once here under the better-corroborated ADT name. ADDetailing (also listed elsewhere as ADDvaleting) trades from one Nelson Terrace address under both names with two different phone numbers on record; try either number if the first doesn't answer.

Questions worth asking before you book

  • Is this a dedicated detailing studio, a garage that also valets, a fixed hand car wash or jet-wash site, or a mobile operator, and does that match what you actually want done?
  • If it's mobile: does the valeter bring their own water and power, and do they cover your exact postcode?
  • Several listings here rest on a single directory entry rather than the business's own website, including Squeaky Clean Mobile Valeting & Detailing, John Kipling Cleaning Services, Suds North East Mobile Valeting, ADDetailing, Shop Wash, Auto Sparkle and JJ Prestige Valet. Ring first to check the business is still trading at the address given before you make a special trip.
  • Top Spec Mobile Valeting Service is listed here under a Westbury Street, Thornaby address after two directories gave that address and a third gave a different one outside this town's coverage; confirm the current address and number when you call.
  • Is the price you're quoted for a wash and protect, or does it include machine paint correction first? Correction takes longer and costs more than a wash, and a coating over unaddressed swirls will not look any better than the paint underneath.
