We collected the prices published by car detailing and valeting businesses across Swansea, Sketty & Uplands, Mumbles & Gower, Gorseinon & Pontarddulais, Morriston & Llansamlet, Neath, Port Talbot and Llanelli in September 2026. Of the 28 businesses in this directory, only one publishes a price list anywhere we could find: Preserve Auto Detailing, a mobile and drop-off detailer based in the Swansea centre & Sandfields area. The other 27 give no prices on a website, Facebook page or directory listing, so a quote means a phone call.

Why so few prices are published
Most of the businesses covered here are small operations: a one- or two-person hand car wash on an industrial estate, a mobile valeter working from a van, or a detailer sharing a garage or dealership's unit. What to ask when you call
Because so few prices are public, the safest way to compare businesses in this town is to ring two or three and ask the same questions of each:
- What's included in a standard valet, and is a machine polish, wax or ceramic coating charged separately?
- Is the price fixed, or does it depend on the size of the car, how dirty it is, or whether it has pet hair or a smell to deal with?
- Do they come to you, or do you need to drop the car off, and how long will it be off the road?
- Is there a call-out minimum for mobile valeters if you're outside the town centre, in Neath, Port Talbot or Llanelli, for example?
Hawke Details Ltd and Gower Valeting are both detailing studios with a published service list covering ceramic coatings, paint correction and protection film, so it's worth asking them for a like-for-like quote against a mobile valeter if that's the level of work you need; a full valet and a ceramic coating are very different jobs priced very differently.
