What this site is

UK Car Detailers is an independent directory of detailers and valeters, compiled from public sources by Roskosh Media, a trading name of Roskosh Limited. It is not affiliated with, and is not an agent for, any business listed here. We take no bookings and handle no payments on their behalf, and being listed, holding a Verified or Featured badge, or appearing near the top of a page is not a recommendation, an endorsement or a guarantee of any business, its work, its insurance or its staff — see the About page for how paid placement affects where a business appears.

Accuracy

Details, prices, opening hours and ratings are as the business or the named review source published them when we checked, and every page says which month that was. For Verified and Featured listings we also confirm details with the business directly. Businesses change their prices, hours and services without telling us, and a review score moves on its own, so everything here is rechecked periodically but can be out of date at any moment. Treat what you read here as a starting point: confirm it with the business before you rely on a price, opening hours or whether it is open at all, and expect the price you are quoted to be the business's price, not ours. If something here is wrong, email [email protected] and we will correct or remove it within a week.

Ratings

A rating is only ever shown where an independent review source publishes one. We name the source, give the month we checked it and link to the original, and the figure stays exactly as that source gives it: we do not score, rank, average or moderate businesses ourselves, and reporting a rating is not our endorsement of it.

Our responsibility to you

To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on a listing, a price, a set of opening hours, a rating or a link on this site, or from the site being unavailable or out of date. We are not a party to any contract you make with a business: the contract for any work you arrange is between you and that business, never with us. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that UK consumer law does not allow to be excluded or limited, and nothing here affects your statutory rights against a business you buy from.

If your business is listed

Listings are free and compiled from public information. Paying for a Verified or Featured listing changes where a business appears and how much of its detail we show, never whether it appears, and paid placement is labelled on every page. To the extent the law allows, our liability to a business arising out of how it is listed, described, priced, rated or flagged on this site (including as closed) is excluded; where the law does not let us exclude it, it is capped at the fees that business paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or at nil if the listing is free. That cap does not affect liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Verified and Featured listings are also governed by the advertiser terms at roskoshmedia.co.uk/advertisers.

Correction and removal

Any business can have its entry corrected or removed at any time by emailing [email protected]; we do it within seven days. This is a term of using this site, not only a promise on our About or Privacy pages.

Links to other sites

Links to a business's website, a review source or a map open sites we do not run and are not responsible for. They are there so you can check what we publish against the original.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute about them or about this site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the site changes; continued use of the site after a change is treated as acceptance of the terms as they then read, and the date at the top is the version that applies to your use of the site today.
